Day 1. Arrival at Kanombe Airport.
On arrival at Kanombe International Airport, Kigali, you will be received by our representative who will give you a short brief about your Gorilla tour and then transfer to Volcanoes national park. The drive normally takes about 2 -3 hours, through the winding roads, arriving in the afternoon and check in to the service of Mountain Gorilla View Lodge, dinner and overnight.
Day 2. Gorilla Trekking Volcanoes National Park.
The day begins early as we drive down to the park offices for briefing before starting the day’s gorilla trekking in Volcanoes national park. The trekking normally takes approximately 3 – 5 hours and after wards, you return to the lodge, dinner and overnight at Mt. Gorilla View Lodge.
Day 3. 2nd Gorilla Trekking
The second day of gorilla trekking this time to a different group of Mountain gorillas maximizes the viewing and photographic opportunities. After the trekking, drive to Kigali at leisure and check in to the service of Hotel Mille Collins for dinner and overnight.
Day 4. Genocide memorial and airport drop
Morning optional visit of the Genocide Memorial & Transfer to Airport for departure.
