9 Days Uganda Safari, Lake Mburo, Mgahinga, Bwindi and Queen Elizabeth National Parks.
Day one; Kampala – Lake Mburo NP.
After breakfast we transfer to Lake Mburo National Park passing through traditional homesteads with a stopover at the Equator for pictures and souvenirs with en-route lunch arriving in the afternoon and enter the Park with a mini game drive and check in to the service of Mihingo Lodge. We then go for the boat cruise on lake Mburo in search for wild life that include the Hippos, Crocodiles, Elands, Statungas and Monitor lizards among others. We also expect see a variety of bird life including the rare African Fin foot. We come back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day two; Lake Mburo NP.
The day begins early as we go for the Nature walk on shores of Lake Mburo in search for wild life that includes The Zebras, Impalas, Reedbuck, Cliffspringers, Buffaloes and Leopards among other mammals and a variety of bird life that includes the Papyrus Gonolake. We go back to the Lodge for breakfast, relax around, have lunch and in the afternoon go for the boat cruise on Lake Mburo for yet another but deferent view of wildlife as they come to cool off at the Lake. This normally takes about one and half hours, we come back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day three; Lake Mburo – Mgahinga gorilla park.
After breakfast, we do a mini game drive as we exit the park and drive to Mgahinga National park with a stopover at Litle lizz in Kabale for lunch, proceed to kisoro arriving late afternoon. Check in at Travelers’ Inn kisoro and have the evening at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day four; Mgahinga National Park.
After breakfast we transfer to Mgahinga National Park headquarters and trek the Virunga mountains range in search of golden monkeys, visit garama cave, among other activities. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day five; Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable national park.
After breakfast, with our packed lunch, we transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park passing through the Ecuya Forest and the Ruhija sector of Bwindi Forest, arriving Bohoma in the afternoon and check in to the service of Gorilla Resort Hotel for dinner and overnight.
Day six; Gorilla Trekking. Bwindi.
After an early breakfast, with you packed lunch go to the visitor’s center for registration and briefing before you begin the gorilla trekking. It may take about 2 - 8 hours and you should prepare to walk for a long distance, under steep and muddy conditions and sometimes with rain over head before encountering any gorilla. The time spent with the gorillas is limited to one hour due to conservation purposes. The ranger/ guides always brief you on how to behave while with those apes. Later return to the Resort, Dinner and overnight.
Day seven; Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, with our packed lunch, transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park passing through the Ishasha plains well known for tree climbing lions. Proceed to Mweya Safari Lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day eight; Game drive and Boat cruise-QENP
The day begins early with an early morning cup of coffee and then start our game drive towards the Kasenyi plains in search for the wildlife that includes the Elephants, Waterbucks, Cobs, Buffaloes, Giant Forest Hogs, Bushbucks, Hyenas, Lions and Leopards among the mammal species and a variety of bird life. This Park is said to have the highest concentration of bird species as compared to any Park in the world (about 612 bird) recorded in this Park. We come back to the Lodge for breakfast, relax around, have lunch and latter in the afternoon go for the boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel for yet another but different view of wild life from close as they come to cool off in the Channel water. We come back to the Lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.
Day nine; Transfer back to Kampala.
After breakfast, (according to the time of your flight) you will transfer to Kampala, proceed to the Airport to take your flight back or to your hotel for dinner and overnight.
