6 Days Gorilla, Wildlife & Chimpanzees Safari Uganda

Day one: Kampala Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After an early morning breakfast, we depart to Bwindi which is about 10 hours drive. We stop at the equator for pictures and crafts shopping and continue to Mbarara for lunch and later proceed on thorough the beautiful evergreen mountainous country referred to as the Little Switzerland of Africa arriving in the evening and check in the service of Buhoma Community Rest Camp for dinner and overnight.

Day Two: Bwindi National Park.(Gorilla trekking)
After an early breakfast, with you packed lunch go to the visitors center for registration and briefing before you begin the gorilla trekking. It may take about 2 - 8 hours and you should prepare to walk for long under steep and muddy conditions and sometimes with rain over head before encountering any gorilla. The time spent wit the gorillas is limited to one hour due to conservation purposes. The ranger/ guides always brief you on how to behave while with those apes. Later return to the camp. Dinner and overnight.

Day Three: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, we check out and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park with en-route lunch. Continue through the Ishasha sector famous for the tree climbing lions (if the road is passable) check into the service of Mweya institute of Ecology hostels/ Guest House for dinner and overnight.

Day Four: Queen Elizabeth National Park Kibale National Park
The day begins early when at 6:30am, depart for a game drive on the northerly parts of the park along the Kasenyi track which has better opportunities at that time of viewing the cats in action, this park harbours other wildlife like Buffaloes, elephants, kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, hyenas and leopards among others. The drive normally takes 2 3 hours and then we return to the lodge for breakfast and then transfer to Kibale National Park with lunch en-route, arriving that evening and check into the service of Rwenzori view Guest house.

Day Five: Kibale Chimp Trekking
After a very early breakfast, we drive to Kibale National Park for the chimp trekking, this primate walk normally takes about 3 4 hours and we are likely to see chimps, red tailed monkeys, Black and white colubus, Red colubus monkeys and baboons and a variety of bird species among others. Come back, relax around, have lunch and later at 2:00pm go for a swamp walk at Bigodi wetland. This is an excellent walk as you see some of the special birds confined to this habitat. We later go back to the Guest House for dinner and overnight.

Day Six: Kibale - Kampala
After breakfast, we check out and transfer to Kampala driving though beautiful tea plantations, homesteads and various forest reserves. Arriving in the evening and check into the service of Naigara Hotel for dinner and over night or go straight to the airport for your flight.

The safari cost is US$ 2.000 per person when 2 people are sharing.
