Day 1 Arrive Entebbe and relax
Arrive at Entebbe Airport, probably the friendliest
in Africa, and will be welcomed by our guide and transfer to Kampala, Naigara Hotel for dinner and overnight or you can even do City tour if time allows.
Day 2 Kampala- Murchison Falls National Park.
Depart Kampala, head for Murchison Falls National Park with a lunch stop at Masindi. We enter the Park and visit the magnificent Falls where you will enjoy and marvel at the mighty Nile being forced into a seven meter crevice to thunder 45 meters below and this can be viewed at different points up to the summit. Dinner and overnight at Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day 3 Murchison Falls National Park
After an early morning breakfast, you cross the Nile by the Ferry and go for
game drive on the northern bank. The game found in this part of the park includes Elephants, Rothschild Giraffe, Jackson Hartebeest, Leopard, Lions, Kobs and a variety of woodland and savannah birds among others. Then in the afternoon after lunch, you go for a boat cruise on the Nile for game viewing at a close range. On this cruise you expect to see many schools of Hippos and Crocodiles and some water birds. Dinner and over night at Red Chilli Rest Camp.
Day 4 Murchison Falls Kibale Forest.
Depart Murchison Falls after an early breast and head for Kibale National Park with lunch
enroute. This drive can take you about 10 hours but it mostly depends on nature of the road. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale.
Day 5 Kibale National Park
After breakfast you go to the National Park which is said to have the greatest variety of primates in East Africa, for Chimpanzee trekking. Among the primates found in this forest are the black and white colobus monkeys, grey cheeked mangaby, red tailed monkeys. Then in the afternoon after lunch, go for a nature walk in the Bigodi swamp which has many interesting birds. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale
After a relaxed breakfast, we transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with lunch en-route. We do a mini game drive as we enter the Park. Dinner and overnight at Institute of Ecology Hostels and Guesthouse. .
Day 7 Queen Elizabeth National Park.
The day begins early and we go for a game drive in the Kasenyi Kobs
mating ground which is in the northern sector of this Park. We are more likely to see waterbucks, buffalos, elephants, lions and wathogs in their nature habitat. The game drive normally takes 2-3hours. After lunch we go for a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, a natural channel that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This is a very interesting cruise because of the big numbers of animals and birds it offers. It also takes 2hours. Dinner and overnight at Institute of Ecology Hostels and Guesthouse.
Day 8 Queen Elizabeth- Bwindi National Park
After an early breakfast you visit Kyambura Gorge for another but different experience Chimp trekking. This is a riverline forest of 100 meters deep and about 16 kilometer long. Apart from the Chimps, the Gorge is also a home to other primates like the Black and white colobus monkeys, Olive baboons, Valvet monkeys and a good number of bird species. After the trekking, we transfer to Bwindi National Park with lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight at Buhoma Community Rest Camp.
Day 9 Bwindi whole Day Gorilla Tracking
After an early morning breakfast, we go to the Park headquaters for the briefing at around 8:00am and latter start the trekking which is unpredictable. It may take 3-8 hours under maddy and straineous conditions, some times with rain overhead.
Day 10 Bwindi Lake Bunyonyi
After a relaxed breakfast, we transfer to Lake Bunyonyi with lunch en-route and check in to the service of Bunyonyi Overland Camp and have a free afternoon, dinner and overnight.
Day 11 Lake Bunyonyi Lake Mburo National Park.
After an early morning breakfast, we transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with lunch en-route arriving in the afternoon for a boat cruise on Lake Mburo and latter check in to the service of Rwonyo Camp for dinner and overnight.
Day 12 Lake Mburo National Park Kampala.
After an early morning breakfast, we go for a nature walk escorted by a ranger guide in search wildlife. In this walk we are more likely see a number of mammals including the Eland (the biggest antelope in East Africa), Bush buck, Zebra, Buffalo, Bushpig, Hayner, Impala, Reedbuck and a variety of bird species like the Pupyrus gonolake, Lyrac breasted roler, and kockie flancorine among others.
